  • After 5:00 pm on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and all day on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), permits are also valid in ‘C’ (Central Campus), ‘F’ (Faculty/Staff), and ‘H’ (Hill Area) parking spaces.

Free Street Parking – spaces along and adjacent to Piedmont have 2 hour maximums, Monday-Saturday 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. 

Meters – Bancroft Ave. meters accept major credit cards 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Free Sundays and after 6:00 p.m. 

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) – The Downtown Berkeley BART station is closest to I-House and will be a 20- 25 minute walk on an uphill incline. Taxis are available. Rockridge BART station is convenient by bus transfer to the 51A that runs along College Avenue. 

Campus Shuttle (Bear Transit) is located across from Berkeley BART at Center & Shattuck in front of Bank of America. The shuttle stops in front of I-House. Visit https://pt.berkeley.edu/BearTransit for shuttle and schedule details.
